This programme is developed around a planned combination of learning outcomes that will provide learners the competencies required in the administration function of an organisation. It is intended to build on the knowledge and competencies developed during the Level 3 programme. Individuals completing this programme will be prepared to start performing responsibilities of managing an office environment and to oversee the operations of an administrative team.
The programme aims to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude required to organise events and coordinate team projects as well as to monitor customer services as part of office procedures. Other skills and knowledge gained will include planning and organise meetings and travel arrangements. Candidates will also be taught complex word processing, report writing and administrative skills as well as managing an established office records filling system.

The entry requirement for this qualification is the NQF Level 3 National Vocational Certificate in Business Services – Office Administration.
Mode of Delivery
This programme is delivered through contact sessions that will provide the learner with the interpersonal support for learning to take place.
Furthermore, a workplace component will allow the learner to apply knowledge gained in a workplace environment.
This programme can be completed over a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of two.
