Student Support Administrator
Location: Swakopmund
Reports To: Office Manager
Business School of Excellence (Pty) Ltd (BSE), established in 2007, is a privately owned Namibian education and training company dedicated to up-skilling Namibians and assisting local companies in staff development. As part of Open Learning Group (OLG), which specialises in education, development and training solutions, BSE is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Student Support Administrator. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing administrative support and assisting students with enquiries, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment at the Swakopmund office.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Office Administration:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception.
- Answer and direct calls, emails and enquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Support the Office Manager with administrative duties, including data entry, filing and document preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and office space.
Student Support & Customer Service:
- Assist students with submission of assignments and Portfolios of Evidence.
- Provide students with course information, enrolment procedures, and general academic support timeously.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 (Essential); Diploma or Certificate in Administration, Office Management, or related field (Advantageous).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist or student support role.
- Experience in an educational or training environment is an added advantage specifically in the Logistics, Transport and Wholesale & Retail industry.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle customer enquiries with professionalism and patience.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

Senior Accountant
Location: Windhoek
Business School of Excellence (Pty) Ltd (BSE), established in 2007, is a privately owned Namibian education and training company dedicated to up-skilling Namibians and assisting local companies in staff development. As part of Open Learning Group (OLG), which specialises in education, development and training solutions, BSE is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance and operations. This role requires technical accounting expertise, analytical skills and the ability to support financial decision-making within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare, present and maintain accurate financial reports, budgets, costing and cash flow projections on a timely basis.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Namibian financial regulations.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Preparation and monitoring of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Identify areas for cost control and process improvement.
Compliance & Risk Management
– Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
– Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits and regulatory requirements.

Office Operations Management
Key Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Essential).
- Completed Articles with a reputable audit/accounting firm
- Professional certification (NIPA, CA, ACCA) an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws and compliance regulations.
- Valid Driver’s Licence
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and financial modelling.
- Experience with accounting software (Pastel, Sage Evolution, Caseware).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Results and deadline driven
- High ethical standards and integrity.
