The Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management aims to develop students in gaining a wide range of professional, vocational and industry-specific intellectual competencies, knowledge and practical skills. The graduate should be able to take decisions in the context of a logistics and/or supply chain organisation, to analyse relevant information, and produce innovative responses to concrete but often unfamiliar problems based on informed judgement. The programme is delivered through distance learning, which provides much needed flexibility for full-time employed individuals.
This diploma will be of great interest to all professionals who work in the areas of operations management, logistics, procurement and information technology, and to all students who are interested in developing a career in the area of supply chain management.
Admission Requirements
National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Diploma endorsement English (1st or additional) 40% (E symbol) Senior Certificate (SC) or equivalent English (1st or 2nd language) SG D symbol or HG – E symbol and three subjects National Certificate Vocational (NCV) At least 50% in three fundamental subjects including English Plus at least 60% in three vocational subjects Completed the OLG Higher Certificate in Logistics Management (NQF Level 5) or other relevant 120-credit Higher Certificate with a minimum aggregate of 50%
